Inglewood police are actively searching for two suspects in connection with the shooting death of Juan Sanchez, who was killed while attempting to interrupt a catalytic converter theft outside his home on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place around 3:22 a.m. in the 1000 block of North hester Avenue, according to the Inglewood Police Department.
Family members report that Juan Sanchez was on his way to work when he heard a disturbance at his neighbor's home and went to investigate. Tragically, he was shot in the chest and later died from his injuries.
Authorities have released images of the suspect vehicle, described as a gold 2002-2006 Toyota Camry sedan with tinted windows and a sunroof. The vehicle is noted to have a non-functioning left front fog light.
