After serving inthe role of acting city manager, Jose O. Cortes has been appointed as the new Assistant City Manager.
According to the City of Inglewood website Cortes began his tenure with the City of Inglewood in August of 2002, where he has served in a range of positions in Finance and Human Resources. These roles include Accountant, Senior Human Resources Analyst, Accounting Manager, Acting Human Resources Manager, and, finally, Human Resources Director as of October 16, 2014.
Prior to joining the City, Mr. Cortes gained over 14 years of experience in the private sector, working in various management and director-level human resources roles.
